Sabi Fold is the working name of Deborah Casher. Sabi Fold explores the quiet intelligence of materials through works made with wood, beeswax, resin and pigments, where the surface becomes a record of pressure, heat and time.  Each piece develops through small iterative gestures that allow the material itself to guide the form rather than pursuing a fixed result.
